The Laguna Playhouse tickets & upcoming events

Looking for a cozy spot to catch some incredible live performances in Laguna Beach? The Laguna Playhouse is just the place. This historic theater has been a cultural hub since the early 1970s, celebrating milestones like its legendary 50th anniversary with acts by big-name performers that still get folks talking. Back in 1988, it hosted a regional theater festival that put local playwrights and actors front and center, kind of like a local spotlight. Oh, and in 2013, they threw a special event to mark the anniversary of Gregory Peck’s passing, yeah, the legendary actor who called Laguna home. The Playhouse has even been named the best community theater multiple times, including in 2012 and 2019, which says a lot about its reputation. If you’re a seat snob like me, the balcony premium seats are where the magic happens, unobstructed views that make you feel like you're right on stage. The front balcony seats give you a wide-angle view of the entire auditorium, making every show feel special. Planning your visit? From Laguna Beach Senior Center, just head east on Laguna Canyon Road then turn south onto Laguna Street. Or from Laguna Beach High School, go south on Laguna Street and you’ll see it on your left. Whether you’re after a blockbuster concert, a heartfelt play, or a comedy night, the Laguna Playhouse has got you covered. Trust me, it’s worth booking those tickets early, especially if you want the best seats in the house. So go ahead, grab your tickets, and get ready for a night you won’t forget!
